Abigail Isabella Evans (born November 17, 1982) is an English pure-blood witch. She was born to Lester Evans and Agnes Evans (née Wagner) and the younger sister of Leland Evans. She was of Irish, Italian, Welsh, Scottish, Dutch, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, and Russian descent on her paternal side but of German, Greek, English, Irish, Swedish, Belarusian, Lithuanian, Polish, Russian, and Ukrainian descent on her maternal side.
Biography[]
Birth and Early Childhood[]
Abby was born on November 15, 1982. When she was started to be given birth, the doctors took Leland, who was two years old at the time and excited about her coming, was taken to play with other kids. It was known that when Leland was talking to Russian kids, he began speaking their language which shocked other kids because at age one, Leland was exposed to so many languages of his ancestors. Then, after playing, the doctors decided his time was up and took him to the emergency room to meet Abby. Both kids were not properly raised as both had been disciplined incorrectly. When they broke a rule (most likely by Leland), the parents would throw stuff at them or anything in the house. However, the parents did approve of corporal punishment. There was an incident where after Abby was put down for a nap, the parents had sex with each other and they did not close the door which Leland was coming up to take a nap and saw the nudity and the moaning woke up Abby and Leland had escorted her down to a safe room in the basement. Most of the parents’ abuse was seen by Severus Snape whenever he visited London. Whenever Snape or sometimes Lucius Malfoy tried to intervene in their throwing stuff, both Lester and Agnes would spit venomous words at him and yell at him to mind his own business. There was an incident where Snape confronted Lester for throwing a rock at a window. When Abby was two and Leland was four, both parents were at Elephant and Castle metro station and knocked a suitcase out of a stranger’s hand. During the confrontation, Lester and Agnes used magic against the stranger, who was a muggle. This was seen by multiple muggles, Marietta Edgecombe’s father, Arthur Weasley, Molly Weasley, Quirinus Quirrell, Xenophilius Lovegood, and Dolores Umbridge. However, Edgecombe, Arthur, Molly, Quirrell, Xenophilius, and Umbridge had to restrain both Lester and Agnes, causing their arrest. Snape, who saw the parents being escorted out of the station to the Ministry of Magic, testified in their hearing that he saw them abuse, scare, and annoy their children too much. Then, Lester and Agnes got convicted, got sent to Azkaban for six months, earned a loss of custody of their children, got banned from seeing their kids again, got banned from using magic on UK soil, had their wands snapped, and got deported to Zimbabwe and banned from returning to the UK since they failed the British citizenship test and their nationality in the UK was unregistered. Then, law enforcement had to look after Leland and Abby. Peter Pettigrew, the man who met each kid during their births after betraying Lily and James Potter, offered to take them, but the offer was declined and Pettigrew reacted by turning into a rat and went off to the Burrow. Then, Milan Nikolić and Freja Lindström, the family friends, offered to take them, which the offer was accepted and the couple took Leland and Abby and their stuff with them and moved them into 32 Verulam Road in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England, the home owned by the family friends, then the kids were properly raised and then Milan and Freja became their guardians. The family of Lester and Agnes, who did not approve of how the parents were raising their kids, visited the kids since Lester and Agnes introduced them and when the siblings or any relatives of the parents visited, they would be taken to visit the home of Milan and Freja as well.
Childhood and Life Before Hogwarts[]
Milan Nikolić and Freja Lindström had Leland and Abby homeschooled before starting Hogwarts since the kids would be uncontrollable and it would be too unsafe for other children since there would be muggle students at a primary school. It was known that when Abby was five, she and her seven year old brother Leland had a medical examination, but the results were that her older brother had the ability to transform into a massive three-headed dog, which her brother practicing his ability to transform was kept secret by Abby herself. When Abby was six and Leland was eight, their uncle Corban showed them how to enter Platform Nine and Three Quarters, which was for the future. Then, when Abby was seven and Leland was nine, their cousin Julia started living with them from the week before the first day of Hogwarts to the week after the last day of Hogwarts, but Leland shared his bedroom with Julia and she also had to be homeschooled before attending Hogwarts. When Abby was eight, she kept her older brother’s whereabout’s secret since Leland went to Greece and had enchantment where he guarded the Philosopher’s Stone as a three-headed dog and was called “Fluffy” by Rubeus Hagrid. Leland returned after Dumbledore sent him in the animagus form back to Greece after Hagrid set Fluffy free in the Forbidden Forest of Hogwarts. Then, Leland and Julia received their Hogwarts letters after Julia left her home, parents, and little brother Andrew in Zimbabwe. While Leland and Julia were buying their school supplies, Abby was shocked to see the Nimbus 2001 on display. Then, Milan bought Leland and Julia tickets (one for the train from St Albans to London and one for the Hogwarts Express). Abby was emotional at first when she first saw Leland and Julia board the train headed to St Pancras International, but got over it. It was known that Leland and Julia sent Abby and Andrew postcards while they were gone at Hogwarts. Then, during the holidays, many relatives would come for the Holidays. In early 1994, Abby received her Hogwarts letter.
Life as a Hogwarts Student (1994-2001)[]
In 1994, Abby, Leland, and Julia boarded a London St Pancras International bound train at Saint Albans and then entered a compartment on the Hogwarts Express. Then, she made friends with Malcolm Braddock, Mafalda Prewett, and Graham Pritchard. Abby was sorted into Slytherin House and joined her brother and cousin at the table. Then, she introduced Malcolm, Mafalda, and Graham to her brother Leland and their cousin Julia.
