and stable for all, we must embrace our differences and not cast them aside. We must not compete with one another. We must support one another. I stand in front of you all bearing this message in hopes of helping you to see the true potential that lies inside you all! No more living in the past. Let's opt for our future! Stand tall and bold! Early Life[]
Avela was born into a Wizarding family, and is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garko between November 1980. Early years[]
In 1990, at the age of ten, Avela began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was one of the first to be sorted into Slytherin house. During her years at Hogwarts, she became friends with fellow Slytherins sharing her dormitory and also made a few enemies, including Pansy Parkinson who quickly developed a rivalry and jealousy towards Avela, and a Slytherin girl group called 'The Sneaky Snitches'.
In her fifth year, she lost her prefect badge and most of her reputation because of Ravenclaw student named Marietta Edgecombe who exposed her to some members of the Inquisitorial Squad. Avela later on discovered that Cho was also involved in exposing her and lost her long and close friendship with Cho Chang. In the middle of her fifth year, she received a letter from the Minister for Magic which stated she made more than three offenses under the Wizarding Law. She appeared just once and her case took over an hour. She was forced to give up her prefect badge and was only given a temporary exclusion of three days.

One late evening, Rabastan broke into the Garko Manor in hopes of murdering them but upon their first meeting,he immediately took a liking to her.The two had struggled with their differences yet their love for each other is what put those differences aside.
She married Rabastan in spring of 1997. When she was just 17 and Rabastan was well into his 30s.
