Cassandra Vole was a witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 21st century.
Biography[]
Cassandra was Sorted into Slytherin house when she started attending Hogwarts at the age of eleven in 2008 the Sorting Hat shouted Slytherin when It was Centimetres from her Head, which surprised the Teachers and some of the Older Students, who knew her older sister Lucinda seeing as until that point their family had always been in Hufflepuff including both her Parents, Her aforementioned sister her uncle, aunt and cousins Duncan, Blake and Brody, a trend which would be repeated by her cousin Rupert but also be Broken once again by her cousin Graham who too was sorted into Slytherin in 2013. Although her family wasn't too suprised as they knew she was as different from her sister in every conceivable way even her eye color was different Brown instead of the Usual Blue, She was soon engaging in bullying her fellow students with her gang of Slytherin cronies Including the Clay Twins Florence Carrow and Nora Malkins, including Daniel Page, Andrew Norrington and Christopher Roberts.[[2]]
Cassandra worked out that he had a Muggle in the Page family, and he told her to shut up. Daniel's friend didn't think Cassandra was worth it, and Ivy Warrington asked if she didn't like non-magic people. Cassandra, however, instantly told her she was not a supremacist, and that she had an uncle who was a Muggle and she thought he was hilarious.[1]
Cassandra left, but Ivy ran after her and asked Cassandra to apologise to Daniel. Cassandra advised her to choose her friends carefully and that Daniel was not a good choice. Then Ivy started duelling her. She was knock down by Cassandra, and used Evanesco on Cassandra and nearly hurt her. Professor Longbottom intervened and gave detention to Ivy and her friends.[1]
Later that evening, Cassandra, Colby and Fischer Frey snuck out to the Library. Daniel, Ivy and their friend found out and went to check out why. They watched her until one of the twins noticed. Cassandra then told Daniel's friends she had found out about Daniel's family who had been sent to prison. Daniel then began duelling Cassandra.[1]
Cassandra lost the duel, and told Daniel it wasn't over and that he couldn't be trusted. She noted that Daniel, Ivy and the student were friends but did not know each other well.[1]
Cassandra put a curse on the book in the library so that when Daniel and his friends came looking for a book about the Page family, they were attacked by pixies. After they fought off the pixies, she appeared "just for a bit of fun", and showed them the Quibbler. She agreed when Ivy's friend said that the Quibbler was a stupid magazine, and laughed that they probably wouldn't believe a word of what was written here about Ivy.[2]
Later, Cassandra followed them into the Book and Quill's tower. She revealed that she had helped them to make sure Ivy got what she deserved, and said that Ivy was dangerous and should be expelled. Daniel used a spell, but Cassandra successfully avoided it and used a Knockback Jinx to Daniel. She started duelling with the student, but was defeated by Ivy's Full Body-Bind Curse, who entered the room later.
She fell in Love with Alester Burke, a boy in her year who was Seeker from their first year and very Handsome and the most popular student in Slytherin and Unusually Kind for a Slytherin around her Third year they began dating in their fifth, People noted she had a softer personality after she started going out with Allister. She previously went out with Lionel Jenkins, Conner Stevensen, Eustace Birch and Will Bletchley possibly to make Alester Jealous similar to how Ginevra Weasley would date other boys before Harry Potter.
Personality and traits[]
Cassandra had a mean-spirited and conceited personality, and enjoyed belittling those she perceived as below her with her classmates, such as Ivy Warrington and Daniel Page. She however strongly disapproved of any usage of the Term "Mudblood" or any other blood related prejudice because her mother was one who was sent to Azkaban to await a Dementors kiss during the Second Wizarding war and was saved by Nymphadora Tonks and Remus Lupin which is Why she refused to bully Teddy Lupin and actually protected him, she absolutely despised Dmetry LeStrange.
She considered herself more attractive, more talented, and more popular than any other witch in the school, her sister Lucinda commented she was similar in personality to a girl from her own year Alberta Carmenda, while a lot of Slytherins adored her and many boys from her year and years below had a crush on her, Many of the Older students found her to be a Spoilt, Insolent, Annoying, Arrogant Brat. She thought that anyone who disagreed this belief was obviously a fool, such as Ivy Warrington and her friends. She thought someone needed to teach them a lesson or two. Cassandra believed that not all witches and wizards were created equal, and she wanted them to know their place.[3]
She disliked the sport of Quidditch despite being in love with Thier Star player Alester Burke and enjoyed Herbology.[4]
Despite her posh and arrogant bearing, she was not entirely heartless, and was delighted when Colby Frey gifted her a scarf he personally made for her on Christmas. When Colby Frey's scarf was mocked by his brother Fischer, Colby fled away in mortification, and Cassandra chased after Colby to console him, stating that even if it was not as expensive or high-quality as Fischer's gift, the sentiment mattered to her much more than Fischer's gift. Furthermore, despite her haughty personality, Cassandra was by no means a witch with anti-Muggle sentiment, even revealing to have a Muggle uncle she found hilarious, but caused her to think Muggles were "silly". She also as mentioned hated the word "Mudblood" and had zero tolerance for Blood-Related Prejudice due to her Mother being one and one her Personal heros being Hermione Granger a Famous Muggle-born witch. Also refused to Bully Teddy Lupin as his parents discovered her Parents held captive at LaStrange Manor during a Mission this act of bravery gave Massive Gratitude to the Lupin Family. Also her cousin Rupert Summers was Teddy Lupins best friend, she also got along with Victoire Weasley bonding over their shared Veela Ancestry and love of Fashion.
Magical abilities and skills[]
- Duelling: Cassandra had some ability in the field of duelling, although she did once lose a duel to her rival Daniel Page.[1]
- Charms: Cassandra was able to produce a fully corporeal Patronus in the form of a mink, an exceptional feat of magic for a Hogwarts student.[4] She had also mastered the Atmospheric Charm.
- Herbology: Cassandra was known to enjoy the study of Herbology at Hogwarts, the study of magical plants and fungi.[4]
- Musical skills: Cassandra could play the piano. She performed in the Great Hall with Filius Flitwick and the Hogwarts orchestra during Chinese New Year celebrations.
- Potions She was a firm favourite of both Horace Slughorn and Sebastian Stern, something which earned her a Spot in the Slug Club.
