Clarence Avery (born. 1927) was a wizard and a Slytherin student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was a member of Tom Riddle's gang when they attended Hogwarts, and was a member of the Slug Club. He was Slughorn most favorite student.
He had no children, as JK.Rowlings Herself confirmed in a student french Film, Lord Voldemort..that he was murdered by Voldemort to young he was around 26 as Voldemort was a year older. He got the name Avery from his step dad, His actual last name was Irish not English, it wasn't Avery by birth.
He wasn't a father and wasn't kin to Gustan or Brodie ..they confuse the characters, Gustan was even rumored to be the actual son of Snape, plus you watch the film, confirmed cannon by J.K Rowlings whom would know, no offense. Him and back then Tom Riddel was super close and before his death was toms most trusted companion. Rumored to be to close. Proven by a movie he was ambushed, fallowed to toms destination,.Tom made another kill him thinking he betrayed him, told someone against them where their destination was, however, it wasn't true he was stalked and fallowed, they was caught even telling tom himself, "I think they are suspecious about us." Tom responsed thinking he betrayed him, "That's not my problem anymore." He however couldn't kill him, had another death eater do it while crying, turned away and couldn't even watch him get killed off. After Tom held a meeting, making all fallowers (death eaters) take a mark, swear themselves loyal, most trusted, not betrayers of his oath. He was never the same only trusted Nagini, even telling her himself in Deathly Hallows, "Come Nagini I'll keep you safe." They had a telepathic bond, she a willing horcroux herself. Despite everything, He trusted Clarence with his dairy, he was a worker for the ministry of magic, a law student working on cases and would work as a death eater spy, even giving whom he called, "Tommy" their secrets and hid Lord Voldemorts tracks. After his death he gave a personality similar death eater the name Avery and the name lived on amongst death eaters and was a high rank death eater name. Despite all their beef, Tom cared about Clarence and that showed mutral.

Avery attended at Hogwarts at the same time as Tom Riddle, and was sorted into Slytherin house. Here he became a member of Riddle's gang, and was a favourite student of Horace Slughorn. This As a pureblood, Clarence was a member of a highly influential family, rich, highly skilled in one or more arts of magic.
Emlyn was present at the same Slug Club meeting in 1944 or 1945 as Tom Riddle and was reprimanded by the Potions Master for failing to hand in a particular essay.
First Wizarding War[]
During the First Wizarding War, Emryn fought on the Voldemort's side as a Death Eater up until his death which tragically took place maybe, late in the 70s however, the film never confirmed the exact date of his death. He died around maybe late 20s or teens seemingly possible, but, no children and makes since as Voldemort was clearly early 20s and also a year apart from Voldemort some rumor this happens around the time.of his diary, after he made the stolen jewl an Hocroux, this was before Nagini of course. So he was way to young. Not to mention an Avery by step when young he had dark blonde hair that after awhile turned brown matching his eyes like his mother did as well.
