—Deeney and her contact.

Deeney was a female freed house-elf that worked as an employed mechanic for the Magistrate Greef Kelgra while also being secretly a double agent for the warlord Roberto Raclaw's remnant of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät. After being instructed to provide repairs to the gunship Azura's Hope, which belonged to her proprietor's friend Luz Noceda, Deeney accepted the instructions alongside her fellows in the workforce, but quietly showed wordless interest in the young Titan King while the backs of the pit crew were turned. Having been contact by the Z.Z.R.K. faction, the house-elf worker was instructed by her overseer to install a homing beacon inside the aircraft, which she complied to, informing a military-clad comms officer of a job well done.

Biography[]

A house-elf who had reached her elderly years by 2030, Deeney was born somewhere in the British Isles before 1990, therefore making her over forty years old, at the very least. Having previously worked for an unknown wizarding family until she was at some unspecified point of time presented by her owners with clothes and therefore freed, while most of her kind found the concept of freedom to be an insult and source of shame, Deeney was apparently an exception to this rule, as not only did she show little sadness over her freedom, but also sought from then on to gain payable employment, rather than indentured servitude. This was another nature that deviated greatly from the mindset of most House-elves, who generally seemed to consider being given penance for their services to be abhorrent, a feeling shared by some wizards, if for no other reason than it required for them to pay the elf in return for their services. Acquiring talents in vehicle repairs through unknown means (possibly the services she had performed for her previous owners), Deeney eventually found willing employment with Greef Kelgra, the Magistrate of the port town Usarvis, who she worked for as a technician. Deeney was held in high esteem by her employer, who openly considered the house-elf to be one of his best working hands. Despite the trust placed in her, however, Deeney simultaneously operated as a spy for Roberto Raclaw, a warlord and the leader of a remnant of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät who's forces had previously held Usarvis under their brief occupation. Though Raclaw and the majority of his forces had been driven from the city by the combined effort of Magistrate Kelgra himself, Yellow Amarillo del Bosque Verde, Luz Noceda and Blake Rainborn, during which the Death Eater leader was presumed dead, Deeney secretly remained in contact with the faction and accepted orders from it.

Sometime after Usarvis' liberation, the city was again visited by Luz Noceda, who arrived to meet with Greef Kelgra and the present marshal, Yellow Amarillo del Bosque Verde, as well as acquire repairs to her mobilized living space and gunship, Azura's Hope, which landed on the outskirts of the city, close to where Deeney was stooped in a crouch position and she and a wizard coworker examined over the wreckage of a dismantled sailing boat's engine, attempting to identify salvageable parts. Not pausing in her work to spare a glance for the new arrivals, Deeney, who was outfitted in protective goggles and padding, merely looked over to her partner while they continued their present operation until addressed by their boss. Looking up from her work, Deeney nonetheless remained hunched for several seconds while her partner inquiries as to why they had been interrupted were answered with requests made for them to attend instead to repairs made to the Hope, but nonetheless rose quickly in acknowledgement of the instructions, nodding her head shortly in wordless acquiescence of the command. Striding past the group alongside the other pit crew worker, a screwdriver clasped inside her left gloved hand, Deeny offered the three a casual glance over her shoulders as she moved to begin work immediately, but as she began to examine the entrance to its interior, the secret Imperial collaborator turned to stair intensely at the departing backs, eyes narrowing slightly while she examined Noceda and her young Titan companion, King, the house-elf quietly clicked her tongue darkly.

Making contact with Raclaw's Z.Z.R.K. remnant, which had its central base in an aquatic facility built beneath the surface of Lake Polishov, confirming the presence of King, who Deeney's leader was searching for due to his ongoing cloning super-soldier project requiring Titan's blood, the informant was instructed by her overseers in the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät to plant a tracking beacon upon the Hope during repairs, which she complied with, after which Noceda left Usarvis with King. Soon after this departure, Deeney was soon contacted by the faction once again, communicating with them over holographic communications that was activated by a female comms officer, who requested an update from the house-elf, who's three-dimensional blue form flickered to life with its hands clasped together upon her chest, still clad in her protective gear. Replying that the homing device had been planted upon Azura's Hope in compliance with her contact's request, Deeney cautiously peered over her shoulder following her report, but swiftly snapped back to the witch as she was thanked by the officer, who vowed before concluding her conversation that she would be richly rewarded for her loyalty when the promised "new era" emerged.

Personality and traits[]

Deeney was a house-elf who, despite her elderly age, nonetheless still harboured traits that were most often considered unfitting among many of her race, specifically her lack of dismay over being free and willingness to demand fairly compensated for her services, although it is unconfirmed if, like the similarly minded Dobby (who wished to earn wages in his job at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but showed signs of fear or disgust at the idea of having 10 Galleons a week and weekends off) Deeney's wishes for composition were underlined by the species' general love of work and traditional values. However, while she was trusted and praised for her talents by Greef Kelgra, who's orders she followed without protest, Deeney was at the same time also compliant with additional instructions given to her by the remnant of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät that she served, which promised its informant that she would be rewarded when their time to rule came. In return, Deeney addressed the Death Eater that acted as her supervisor with respect, addressing her by the honorific title "mistress".
