Biography[]

Bombing of Castle Hrdlicka and death[]

Despite the Liberation of the Outer Rim spelling the shattering of the Empire of Night's power over the area and the temporary loss of a single central leader, the Death Eaters remained loyal and simply resumed their operations below ground. Assigned to the squadron of TIE/IN interceptors and bombers that were at the command of Igor Müsstler, the appointed commander of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät, Dorfern Paterv, given the military number SD-5-45, was put at the disposal of Laurin Bussler following her recruitment, as was her unit, something Paterv considered to be an honor, knowing well the colonel's reputation as a steadfast, incorrupt leader who rewarded those who did well by her. Loyal like the rest of the Z.Z.R.K. to their master, the Dragon Lord, Dorfern was a participant of the frequent training exercises Bussler had her subordinates undertake far out to sea, training them to form a single cohesive unit that would serve well under Imperial command.

Having been assigned by Boris Jorgen the task of helping hunt down and drive off or destroy the small group of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistic Division Igor Müsstler was growing ever confident to be operating in his assigned state, when one of her coastal spies reported to her of rumored activity in the abandoned ruins of Hrdlicka Castle, Laurin Bussler dispatched 'SD-5-45' and over 24 others to the area with orders to bombard the castle with lethal force, leaving S.H.I.E.L.D. without a base and perhaps wiped out. Having noticed a gauntlet jetfighter on their radar as they approached the castle, Dorfinn Paterv and the other Z.Z.R.K. Death Eaters, suspecting the strange aircraft to belong to their enemies, subsequently diverted course to suddenly attack the warcraft that they pursued towards the castle grounds. Training fire, despite firing several successful hits, Dorfern Paterv and her squadron continued to guide their TIE interceptors over the ocean, firing a steady rain that the enemy aircraft, steered by Fader and defended by the dragon's Fireworm and Everstar, gained ground and blasting two of Paterv's comrades from the sky in bursts of fire. Exchanging commands over their comm at the sight of Everstar detaching from his allies to swoop towards the castle grounds, Dorfern feared the worst and called for Musstler's forces to fall back and reassemble, which was obeyed, the TIE pilots peeling back briefly out to see, then guiding their crafts over the Syldavian highlands towards the coast and castle sight from inland while another pilot pursued Everstar and his rider Iiron.

Misjudging the timing of her turn, Dorfern, the pilot also known as SD-5-45, was killed therefore when she accidently crashed her TIE interceptor into a cliff

Resuming the chase of Fader and Fireworm, Dorfern's craft the second to last flying on the right wing, on whose back rode Yellow Amarillo del Bosque Verde, as Fireworm peeled back towards the highlands, Dorfern Paterv and several others pursued her to avoid reinforcements, firing to kill in spite of knowing that Yellow, as the Dragon Lord's granddaughter and desired heir, was to be kept alive, Paterv deeming it a necessary death with a snarl. Seconds after uttering this, however, Fireworm suddenly pulled back, entrancing Dorfern's attention as the dragoness leapt forwards in the air in a burst of speed. Attempting to imitate the movement, Dorfern failed to appreciate the years of experience dragon and rider had and therefore, when she attempted to swing away from the rugged formation of rockface she flew past, the pilot was unable to pull away with the same majestic speed and thus crashed into the cliffside, causing her interceptor to explode before she could disapparate way, killing her in the fiery blaze and incinerating her corpse.
