Enya Radulfr was a European witch and werewolf who was a member of Clan Lupin. Loyal to the leader of the Lupin dynasty, Flasheart Lupin, she became a member of the Wilderwolves, a werewolf splinter group affiliated strongly to the Death Eaters when her family chose to align itself to the Dragon Lord and his forces, although Enya reserved her only true allegiance to her kin. Radulfr, however, died before Clan Lupin chose to desert the armies of the Dragon Lord when, during a raid instigated by the Death Eaters to massacre the participants of an enemy recruitment program, she perished alongside the entirety of the hit squad.

Biography[]

Early Life and Alpine Owls[]

Clan Lupin crest

Enya Radulfr belonged to Clan Lupin (see crest above).

Enya Radulfr was a member of the werewolf kinship group of Clan Lupin, a powerful household descended directly from Harlin Lupin, the man legends considered the first of all true lycanthropes, namely those that were not the infected by bite, but rather another race of humans that wielded the ability to willingly shift from human to wolf by contact with moonlight. In addition to boasting a prestigious ancestry, Clan Lupin also served as the ruling family to the larger House Luna and as such, its head commanded, by extension, the influence and power granted to them both in political matters and in the vast force of men and women-at-arms that House Luna had at its disposal to fight for their people. While Enya did not directly bare the Lupin surname like the leader of House Luna, Flasheart, or his son Freddy, she and her relations were among the various families that formed the Lupin ménage and like all pure werewolves, when she reached the age of ten, she was given a moon band, which allowed her to both walk under the light of a moon as a human, yet also shed such skin to become a wolf if she so desired.

Marella Lupin and her Alpine Owls

Enya Radulfr was part of the Alpine Owls, an elite group comprised solely of female warriors that were under the command of Marella Lupin.

As an adult, Enya Radulfr trained successfully to fight both on two legs and on four as part of the private fighting force that, drawn from the separate troops that were at the disposal of the families that formed the clans House Luna was composed of, were at the command of the supreme chieftain of the household. House Luna, however, including Clan Lupin, ultimately aligned itself with the forces of the Dragon Lord during the early mid-years of global magical warfare between the Death Eaters and their opponents, this action being motivated by the feelings of anger both towards how their fellow werewolves were treated in some parts of the world and because of how certain areas of their old territories they considered sacred were being consumed by the non-magic people. Enya subsequently became part of the Wilderwolves movement, a terrorist splinter group of werewolves that opposed the direction being taken by general werewolf government and its policies as part of the Army of Night the Dragon Lord commanded, where Radulfr joined the Alpine Owls, a unit solely comprised of female Wilderwolves led by Lady Marella Lupin, wife of Flasheart Lupin and Countess of both the Lupin Clan and Luna House as a whole.

In 2005, the Dragon Lord summoned a number of his followers for a gathering at Nurmengard Castle, which Radulfr attended. Assembled amidst the forces of the Dragon Lord that rallied in the courtyard of Nurmengard at early sunrise, Enya, bounding from the surrounding pine forests in her wolf form, stopped with several others of her kind belonging to House Luna on a ridge, allowing the first rays of sun to bath her in their light as she shifted to the form of a dark-skinned human woman that joined the streams of people entering the castle. Dressed in a buttoned-down cinereous coat and black pants, her mass of black curls bundled beneath a kombu green kepi cap, Enya Radulfr would listen without word as the Dragon Lord delivered a speech to the congregation. Told that the time was close at hand where the voices of the magical world would finally be heard, as the dark wizard concluded that their cry would be one of a deafening pitch, Enya joined the rest of the crowd as it responded with hollered cheers of celebration, punching a gloved fist into the air as those around her chanted their master's name.

Because of her skill in battle, Enya Radulfr was pulled from the Alpine Owls to serve in a small task force that the Dragon Lord marshalled from the various factions of his armies and subsequently dispatched north to the mountains of Alaska, where two of his Death Eaters, war-scarred siblings known by the aliases of 'Three Fingers' and 'Half Face' had, under the masquerade of mercenaries, infiltrated a secret recruitment program undertaken by the United Alliance of Magical Races to recruit snow leopards to their cause. Directed to an assembly point in the area surrounding Mount Foraker by the treacherous messenger Glynnis Sokil, Enya Radulfr and her allies hid out as they awaited the signal for them to attack the training camp, which was planned out to be launched on the break of dawn. Summoned by 'Half Face', who led them to the camp, the strike force, including Radulfr, stormed out of the shadows of early morning, only to find the camp they had believed would be sleepy and slumbering to instead be active and its occupants readied for action. Arriving in the form of a tan-skinned woman clad in the slim, blue-coloured armour of the Alpine Owls, her right hand wielding a one-edged blade, Enya Radulfr engaged mere seconds into conflict with one of the locally recruited wizards. In spite of her exceptional training, in the savage, disorienting fray of a battle where one's attention was caught in a confused state of mind, Enya was brought down after several seconds of fierce combat, although her death was avenged soon afterwards when her killer was stuck down by another Death Eater.

Legacy[]

"Insignificant aid? My wolves had fought and bled and died for you and these Wilderwolf ideals!"
—Flasheart Lupin

During the several years which saw the House Luna standing alongside the Dragon Lord and his vast forces, Enya Radulfr was only one of various members of Clan Lupin and its fellows that lost their lives. These casualties were, however, disregarded by several Wilderwolves when they complained that Flasheart had failed to properly fund their efforts, to the chieftain's fury. In the end, House Luna would, again under the leadership of Flasheart, broke away from the Wilderwolves to instead align with the Order of the Phoenix as the Wolf Resistance.
