Eutropio De la Vega is a Spanish half-blood wizard that worked as a former leader of the Extranjero Calle Lacos who was arrested and served his time in the Syldavian State Prison. While incarcerated, Eutropio was recruited by subversives belonging to the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät, who Eutropio agreed to provide his services to, resentful that the Spanish Ministry of Magic had permitted him to remain in Syldavian custody, and as a result, he would assist them when members of the Z.Z.R.K. orchestrated a riot to cover the escape of Alfred Alembick and Herr Czarlitz, who Eutropio fled with.
De la Vega, sheltered by Igor Müsstler, proceeded to assist his new allies among the Z.Z.R.K. in their plot to destabilize the government of Syldavia, launching numerous guerrilla attacks on Bordurian businesses under the pretence of being a Syldavian nationalist with the aim of justifying the invasion plans of Borduria. In the brief conflict that broke out between the propaganda units of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät and members of local law enforcement, however, Eutropio was captured and, in the aftermath of the Destruction of the Z.Z.R.K., he was again handed over to the custody of the Syldavian Ministry of Magic, who proceeded to again convict him of his recent activities as part of the Z.Z.R.K., exposed now as a division of the Death Eaters, and sentenced him to reincarceration, now in the Abyss.
Biography[]
Extranjero Calle Lacos[]
Foreign Incarceration[]
Born somewhere within Spain, Eutropio De la Vega would eventually immigrate from his Spanish homeland to Syldavia, where he would join a criminal gang of mobsters, most of the same origin as De la Vega, which was that of Spain, known as the Extranjero Calle Lacos, becoming a key leader of the band of biker highwaymen as they terrorized the Syldavian road. The activities of Eutropio De la Vega, however, eventually brought the attention of the Syldavian Auror Office, who attacked their base, capturing and taking the entire crime ring into custody and impounding their ill-gotten wealth.
Whilst his subordinates and the rest of the leading hierarchy were handed over to the custody of their Spanish colleagues, Eutropio was instead detained in the custody the government of Syldavia, which he resented but the wizards of Spain permitted in the preserve their internal relations with the sovereign state of Syldavia, a country who's citizens Eutropio was found guilt of numerous crimes against. Whilst on trial in the Klow Courthouse, however, Eutropio did nothing to placate his persecutors and indeed, he would once have to be held back as he spat abuse at the jury, calling the Syldavians a nation of backwater savages and making a mockery of their customs and the continued existence of monarchy. Guilty, among his acts, of terrorism, hold-up and harassments that had left it's victims, primarily defenceless farmers and elderly men, badly beaten and with bloody injuries that had resulted in the hospitalization of several, Eutropio was given a lengthy sentence of more than ten years in the country prison, after which he would immediately be deported back to Spain for prosecution there.
Loyalty to the Revolutzionär Komitzät[]
Secret Recruitment[]
Whilst imprisoned within the Syldavian State Penitentiary, the resentment felt by Eutropio De la Vega towards the government of Syldavia for how he had been kept in the custody of their Ministry, rather than the Ministry of Magic that governed the wizarding community of his homeland in Spain, where his gang were even now serving their sentence, and he would express this feeling of growing hatred towards the way wizards were governed to another inmate one day whilst playing cards one day on the grounds of the exercise area, declaring his government had left him to rot in foreign lands for reasons that were motivated purely by the incompetence of it's leaders. Unbeknownst to either inmates, however, one of the prison warders standing guard over the area was a double agent loyal to Isaac Nasser and the Zyldav Zental Revolutzionär Komitzät and would overheard the complaint shortly before indicating the end of recess, taking Eutropio by the shoulder as he guiding him back to his allocated cell.
Whilst being marched there, however, Khonten Biserka would secretly slip the gangster a note containing within it instructions to wait for a meeting, then to destroy the evidence, which Eutropio, eyebrow raised in suspicion but curious all the same, fulfilled, shredding the letter into a rain of torn paper. Shortly afterwards, Eutropio was to be found relaxing in his bed when he was suddenly disturbed by the clatter of a lock indicating the arrival of a security guard, who informed he that he had a visitor requesting his presence. Entering the visiting area, now fully curious, Eutropio found his visitor to be Dunja Meyer, who greeted him with respect, declaring him the infamous leader of the Extranjero Calle Lacos, which De la Vega, though still suspicious, appreciated all the same, working out from Dunja's comment that she must have come from one of the communities he had once plagued to be aware of the Lacos. Eutropio's attitude, however, would swiftly return to one of suspicion as Meyer brought up his resentment at being incarcerated by a government that was not of his own nationality, demanding to know who his visitor was. Told only that Meyer was a friend, Eutropio just sneered at this and Meyer's claim that she could help restore him to his former glory in crime, but when she moved to leave, labelling him a disappointment, he hastily called her back, inquiring to what she meant and receiving a smile in answer. Informed that the woman he was staring at served a being always interested in recruiting wizards who showed promise, such as Eutropio, she concluded that she was offering him another chance, only this time in service to a far greater master than just crime itself. Eyes thoughtful, the criminal noted that while locked up, he could not see any value he could provide and that he wanted to know more, but in answer, Dunja answered back that the 'Great One' was not a man to trifled with, nor spoken of in the slightly mocking tone such as how Eutropio had just voiced, warning him when he rolled his eyes that if he signed on, there would still be laws that bound him, which Eutropio expressed his dissatisfaction on, but was told by Meyer that they would all have to do things that inspired discomfort if their "toy soldiers" were ever to be taken off the shelves. Asked finally if they had a deal, Eutropio relented and asked when he would be broken out, but was told that all would come in due time, but that he had just signed on for his future. Watching silently as Dunja Meyer rose to leave, Eutropio informed his new ally that she looked good in the blue dress she wore, which Meyer smiled at before departing, leaving Eutropio alone as he thoughtfully put away the intercom phone, looking down in surprise to find the card that had appeared suddenly in his hand, the credentials Z.Z.R.K. inscribed on it.
Now recruited to the Zyldav Zental Revolutzionär Komitzät, with Dunja serving as his main contact to his new superiors, Eutropio De la Vega and the other witches and wizards recruited to the organization from the convict population of the Syldavian State Penitentiary were instructed to stand by until further instructions were given to start a riot, which would be staged as an emergency procedure should members of the Z.Z.R.K. be caught during their plans to attempt a coup d'état against King Muskar XIII.
Escape[]
Some time after this visit, Eutropio and another recruit were eating when he was passed by one of the prison warders he now knew to be a mole for the Death Eaters and Z.Z.R.K., who gave him a subtill nod as he passed, which both convicts, eyes narrowed, returned. Glancing across at the bustling dining centre, as the moles of the Zyldav Zental Revolutzionär Komitzät implanted within the Penitentiary staff exited, Eutropio rose to his feet. Knowing their orders, the numerous recruits to the Death Eaters conscripted from the prisoners like Eutropio De la Vega proceeded to orchestrate a violent prison riot, striking out against prisoners and staff as the room dissolved into fighting while spies of the Z.Z.R.K. broke out Herr Czarlitz and Alfred Alembick, who had only just been locked away.
Using the chaos to escape along with numerous other allies of the 'Iron Guard', Eutropio, Alembick, Czarlitz, Mirjana Zvala, Khonten Biserka and their accomplices escaped in the confusion, fleeing the area and into hiding, sheltered by the appointed commander of the Z.Z.R.K., Müsstler, who proceeded to reveal how the organization Eutropio had been recruited to were in fact a cell of the Death Eaters. Though shocked, the promise of what he would gain from the Z.Z.R.K.'s activities and the gratitude he felt towards them for helping him escape prompted Eutropio, former leader of the Extranjero Calle Lacos, pledged himself to the group and it's master, receiving the Dark Mark.
Destruction of the Zyldav Zental Revolutzionär Komitzät[]
Despite now being a man wanted by the law, who suspected him of being associated with the plot to depose King Muskar XIII, Eutropio De la Vega made a continued appearance as he assisted the propaganda units of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät assigned to stirring unrest among the citizens of Syldavia on the eve of St. Vladimir's Day. Portraying himself as a radical acting in the alleged interests of his country, Eutropio De la Vega proceeded to employ his skills as a former highwayman in numerous attacks launched on the homes and businesses of Bordurian immigrants, personally attacking and assaulting several himself, the aim of the attacks being to provoke anger against the crown from Bordurians and their sympathisers, thus justifying the invasion the Z.Z.R.K. were planning for Borduria to stage.
The looters, however, were met with resistance both from angry mobs of citizens led by the friends of those the Z.Z.R.K. members/Death Eaters had brutalized and law enforcement, who Eutropio helped fight. Though their task of stirring unrest was a success, Eutropio and several other members of the unit were captured and detained, though they refused to talk or betray the organization, with Eutropio at one point speaking in native Spanish as he comparing his interrogators to glass which was shattered by a hammer. The attempt at an orchestrated annexation of Syldavia with Borduria carried out by the Z.Z.R.K. was ultimately foiled, nevertheless, when Blake Rainborn was able to successfully steal back the Scepter of Ottokar IV from the thugs sent by Igor Müsstler to transfer the artifact into the hands of their Bordurian contacts and in the aftermath, the high leadership of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät was exposed as the political party known as the Iron Guard and the majority of the Z.Z.R.K. members and associates were rounded up in a swift investigation and Eutropio, handed over to the Ministry of Magic for trial, would once again face Syldavian justice, which would convict him not only of his previous crimes but also his more recent actions as a Death Eater and proceed to sentence him to incarceration within the Abyss, where he would be transferred alongside the majority of the captives exposed as operatives of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät.
