Jimmy Peakes was a student of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry chosen by Harry Potter to be one of the new Beaters for the 1996-1997 Gryffindor Quidditch team.

1996-1997 school yearEdit

In the 1996–1997 school year, Jimmy trieed out and became the new Beater for Gryffindor in the 1996-1997 Quidditch season replacing Fred and George Weasley with Ritchie Coote. Neither of which gave the team the same charisma, but were almost as good in game. During tryouts Jimmy caused Harry to receive a swelling on his head the size of an egg after hitting him with a bludger.

1997-1998 school yearEdit

After the death of former Headmaster Dumbledore, Snape took to the position of Head. The school was corrupt and being ran by Lord Voldemort indirectly with puppet teachers and Death Eaters Amycus Carrow and Alecto Carrow being employed this year. Attendance to Hogwarts was compulsory for all Pure-Blood and Half-blood students.

Battle of HogwartsEdit

When Hogwarts fell under attack from Death Eaters in 1988, Peakes was one of the students, along with Colin Creevey and Mylor Silvanus were moved towards the Great Hall to defend the castle. Jimmy and Colin stood together and fought for their lives against the Death Eaters. After a while the three went to the Owlery for help to the firefighters of the Ministry of Magic, and there they found Yaxley, who had killed Colin. After the murder of Colin, Jimmy had been directed by Mylor to call for help to take the body of Colin to the Great Hall. When he returned to Owlery with Oliver Wood, Mylor had met alone with the body of Colin. The three used a spell to carry Colin, but after Mylor extreme pain from his injuries, Oliver decided to take him alone.
