Laurin Bussler, code named AP-465-11, is a female half-blood witch from the Otherworld who served the Dragon Lord and the military of his Empire of Night as distinguished colonel with high-security clearance to the Imperial Investigation Bureau. In the days that followed a failed attempt to trap the rebel crew of The Ghost, when Princess Darkness visited the Imperial Complex of Lothal to deal personally with the threat, Laurin was among the assemblage of troops set in formation to welcome the Dragon Lord's right-hand when she arrival.
In the aftermath of the successful Liberation of Lothal and the surrounding countries from the Empire of Night's control and the disappearance of Princess Darkness, Laurin Bussler evaded captivity by the United Alliance of Magical Races. In the span of three years that followed, Laurin was recruited to the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät, where her past acts of military leadership earned her a place as one of Igor Müsstler's military advisors, offering experienced recommendations to the strategic stationing of battle stashes for the Death Eaters in their coup, hiding out in a Z.Z.R.K. safe house as a result of her past acts. When the Revolutzionär Komitzät was exposed and dismantled in a widespread operation, however, Laurin Bussler was captured and taken into the custody, where she is currently being detained as her fate was discussed.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Laurin Bussler was born to a single mother in a country in the Otherworld with a struggling economy and poor resources, which therefore left local doctors unable to save Mrs. Bussler when the struggles of her second childbirth proved fatal after she bore a healthy young boy far later than the years of parenthood would typically be, with Laurin already being fifteen at the time. Fine at home financially but with the need to working part time at a local mechanics for the money needed for college attendance, Laurin and her brother, Parel, were raised by their maternal uncle, who was secretly an agent of an organization that had infiltrated the country in every society: the Death Eaters. Therefore, when the Death Eaters' master, the Dragon Lord, invaded and added the country to his growing Empire, Laurin saw her people given the necessary resources that the country as an independent nation had lacked and therefore, she believed that the Death Eaters were helping people by uniting their nations, even if these countries' citizens did not want it.
Serving the Empire[]
Initial Successes[]
Her uncle had become an important governor in the Empire's permanent presence established in the country and this and Laurin's natural skill in battle permitted her attendance to the Imperial Academy, where she completed her training in the militaristic program of the new regime, which also trained her brother. While Parel came to become a member of the Stormtrooper units stationed in his homeland, Laurin's ambitions spread far wider and she therefore worked for placement in the military of the Empire of Night, which she gained. First serving merely as a scout, then a soldier, Bussler's natural knack for leadership swiftly served her well as the progressively advanced in the ranks from army troop to the captain of her unit and finally to a colonel in the army, respected by subordinates and superiors alike, with the additional position of an agent to the Imperial Security Bureau with high-level clearance to classified Imperial operations of the Empire. During her time as a colonel, Laurin established a well-founded working relationship with Gailux Pellaeon, now a captain to Princess Darkness in the 7ᵗʰ Fleet and knew him well as a great man with the power to adapt to change yet still with a loyalty to the Dragon Lord and "the old ways". Eventually, Laurin was stationed on the nation of Lothal after it was conquered by the Dragon Lord and Death Eaters, who's Lothal garrisons she helped manage as one of their chief colonel, codenamed with the designated number, AP-465-11.
Lothal Stationing[]
Visited by a fallen rider[]

One of the finest in the Lothal garrison, Laurin therefore assembled to greet Darkness when she inspected Lothal
In response to the ongoing rebel activities occurring within Lothal and the surrounding sectors by a small but principal team of rebels and in the aftermath of an attempt made by the Death Eaters to capture the group but which ended in failure, Laurin and the rest of the garrison were informed that they were to be prevue to a visit paid by Princess Darkness to inspect and assess the danger the rebels posed to the reputation of safety and security the Empire of Night maintained to their conquered lands. One the day of the arrival, therefore, the grey-cladded Laurin Bussler, her hair held in a bun would assembled alongside the finest officers, Death Eaters and soldiers the garrison had to offer in welcome, with Laurin stationed as second in line to the left row of Imperial commanders that lined the front of the two rows of the garrison assembled. Standing to straight-backed attention as Darkness's airship arrived and was exited by the cold-eyed princess and her own escort, Laurin made no comment in the defeat of her superior, Maketh Tua, nor her colleague Alexsander Kallus as Darkness reprimanded both scathingly for their inability to either contain the flourishment of a rebel cell, nor prevent such a cell from succeeding in it's raids on their master's resources, costing the Armies of Night men, weaponry and supplies, assuming command over Lothal.
Advising a coup[]
Joining the Death Eaters in Syldavia[]
Laurin Bussler did not play much of a role in the continued fighting of the rebellion, which proceeded to moved out of her jurisdiction and off of the Lothal to evolve into a larger scale of warfare between Princess Darkness and the rebel Phoenix Squadron, although she presumably worked under the direct command of Governer Price and the supreme command of High General Darkness. Before the Battle of Lothal, however, unspecified business regarding her duties to the I.S.B. and it's projects called her off Lothal to attend to other arrangements, leaving the task of dealing with her garrison duties to her trusted deputy. Therefore, Bussler's presence was absent when Catra D'Memirel and the rest of the Ghost's crew led the Phoenix Squadron in a country liberation that Catra concreated when she used her abilities to summon a swarm of purrgil that proceed to drag the Chimaera with both Catra herself and Darkness (along with Darkness's dragon, Darkner) into the ancient currents, pulling all of them in a course that took them to the Distant Lands and left the Death Eaters and Northern Empire in enough of a disorganized state that they were unable to prevent their power and presence in Lothal and it's neighbours from shattering into numerous factions.

Proud of her own skill, Laurin therefor was only comfortably with the idea of serving under a member to the Shadow Council in the absence of the Dragon Lord and Darkness
The Empire was forced back into territories that its rule had solidified control over with the remaining twelve Forsworn of the Dragon Lord seizing command in the absence of their master and high general, but events left Laurin in the Wizarding-Muggle world. Her activities reviewed by the International Confederation of Wizards and newly-formed United Alliance of Magical Races, Laurin was therefore declared worldwide a war criminal wanted for questioning and with crimes that included oppression and espionage. Subsequently, Laurin went into hiding as she went in search for one of the more powerful of the many chapters of the Death Eaters implanted within the Balkan Peninsula, who she hoped both to join as a high-ranking advisor of and find sanctuary with. Laurin's pride, however, led to her seeking out only the region's most powerful segments, who's leaders she was confident would be part also of the newly-formed council of leadership the Forsworn had assembled from each country's most powerful groups. Therefore, Laurin eventually travelled to Syldavia, where she would personally approach Igor Müsstler, aware that he was both part of the Shadow Council and still had long-time plans for a coup designed to establish the presence of the Dragon Lord in Syldavia and Borduria, and offer him her services as a veteran fighter with many years of experience in conquering a country through sleeper agents. Recognizing the colonel immediately, Müsstler eagerly accepted Bussler and, after subjecting her to the interrogations necessary to ensure she had not become a double agent, appointed her to the position of a military advisor, much to the ire of Gailux Pellaeon, who had hoped to recruit her to his own delegation.
Laurin therefore became an important officer of the Z.Z.R.K. whom various divisions were to report personally to, and she carefully ensured only the best yet also most trustworthy were placed in positions of power and all those under her were led by commanders who would prefer death over the concept of failure, with any who showed cowardice and incomitance ruthlessly reassigned. Operating from her own underground military base fully staffed and provided with all that was necessary to carry out her tasks, in addition to enough rations and firepower to withstand a siege, Laurin Bussler's opinion was also valid and though it seems she was not a member of the circle of Death Eater leadership in Syldavia that served as Müsstler's high advisory board, Laurin Bussler's words still carried weight to him and his subordinate leaders. She would also on occasion speak for her commander to certain sleeper agents of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät when they delivered reports and several times, using false aliases and careful disguises, Laurin met to exchange reports and orders with allies in the Syldavian law enforcement. One time, Bussler infiltrated the Royal Palace of Klow under the facade of a dizzy noblewoman named Lady Gwendolyn to speak with Boris Jorgen, who pretended to be distantly related too, on serious matters, her lightheaded nature deterring suspicion.

Assigned command over several agents of the Z.Z.R.K. operating outside Syldavian borders, Laurin Bussler frequently contacted a Mimbenese informant
Another case was when, shortly before St. Vladimir's Day, the United Hero and magizoologist, Iiron Scamander, visited Nevarro for repairs to the Razor Crest, a task entrusted to a team that included Wiydul, a Mimbanase informant in frequent contact with Bussler that swiftly alerted Laurin over a holographic message, confirming Iiron was active on unknown business. Laurin promptly had the informant to install a device subtilty on the Crest in order to determine any contact he might have with S.H.I.E.L.D. or enemy presence in Syldavia. Striding soon afterwards into the command center, following an examination of one of her communication officer's voice radio equipment, Laurin Bussler then took herself to her office, where she would activate a holographic communication with the Mimbanese worker, demanding what information her ally had to give. Not showing any emotion when Wiydul confirmed she had done what Bussler had asked per her request, she simply thanked her contact, promising her with a small twitch of the lip rewards in the "new era" of their master's global rule before discontinuing the call. The colonel then made contact with Müsstler, informing him of the news she had received from the informant.
Bombing of the Coastal Castle[]
In days that immediately preceded the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät's St. Vladimir's Day coup, Laurin Bussler's presence was specifically requested by Boris Jorgen for a meeting held in one of their shell corporation skyscrapers. Arriving, the meeting was attended also by a collection of several other division commanders and a few officers sent from Gailux Pellaeon's delegation at the request of the Z.Z.R.K.'s leader to advise their efforts, Laurin seated herself with the others, her hands pressed palm down against the table's top, bent slightly forwards to observe a photograph Jorgen had pulled up of a young man and woman and an older adult female, all of whom she instantly recognized as Hiro Hamada, Jormungand Nassera and Kuvira d'Lestrange, crewmembers of the Ghost and agents of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistic Division. The group were told how the three's presence indicated Igor Müsstler's suspicions about S.H.I.E.L.D. were correct, each member was instructed to dispatch forces in search of the group with permission to use lethal force if it was necessary and Laurin Bussler, told with the others that they would make the society of Syldavia great again, all uttered their salute of hail to their Dragon Lord master.

Discovering the location of a possible S.H.I.E.L.D. base on Syldavia's coast, Laurin Bussler dispatched a unit of TIE fighters to bomb the castle
In Laurin's case, her troops included a squadron of TIE/IN interceptors and TIE/sa bombers that, when informed by one of her agents that contacted her in an office of hers within the hanger bay of this unit that the agents she had been hunted were suspected of using for a base an old Scottish castle on the coastline of Syldavia, Laurin informed the fisherman she would see the agency was dealt with. Rising from her desk to pace to the glass wall that overlooked the bay and TIE interceptors under her command, Laurin proceeded to dispatch a force of at the very least 25 interceptors with the additional aid of a triad of bombers to bombard the castle, killing or driving away Princess Fader and her team. Fader and S.H.I.E.L.D., however, with the addition of aid from Iiron Scamander, Yellow Amarillo del Bosque Verde, Fireworm and Everstar, were able to escape, destroying seven of the force Laurin had sent, but Bussler's men still destroying the castle, then reported back to her.
Arrest[]
Before the coup and annexation Laurin, Müsstler and the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät had planned could be put into effect, however, the royal ambassador and his 'Iron Guard' were exposed for what they truly were and a raid on Müsstler's mansion wherein he was arrested and his possessions were confiscated, prompting a vast investigation to dismantle the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät. The safe house Bussler was currently residing in and commanding her operations from, therefore, was suddenly raided and Laurin, pacing in the main room, whipped around as several witches of the Auror Office led by Hestia Jones barged in. Wand coincidently at hand, Laurin threw several wordless spells that downed two enemies swiftly, then dueled Jones in a fierce fight that she emerged the loser off. Laurin was therefore taken into custody and identified as a wanted fugitive of the law.
As she was wanted criminal of the United Alliance of Magical Races, which the International Confederation of Wizards is now part of, Laurin Bussler was therefore handed over to the custody of the United Alliance to await trial and punishment. That punishment, however, came to be upon for debate, as while some members of the council believed that Bussler should be thrown without question into the Abyss for her crimes in the Otherworld, then on Syldavia, others on the other hand noted all her acts had been done out of loyalty to the Dragon Lord and the Empire's cause, rather than for personal gain. Such members therefore argued that Laurin could be reeducated, and her experience put to better use, if she was given the chance to participated in their Amnesty Program, where old servants and supporters of the Dragon Lord, including several of Bussler's Z.Z.R.K. subordinates, were even now being reconditioned and rehabilitated to instead help the Alliance, although it was argued by the others that they risked an escape or the implantation of a spy if they chose to do so.
