Ronan is the son of the potions professor who is in place when Louana returns to Hogwarts. He lives in Hogsmeade with his father. When Ronan was a baby, his parents saw that he had severe developmental delays. They took him for a battery test to find out what was causing the delays. The news fell: he was deaf and mute. His parents hired a counselor to help him progress better. Her mother died when she was 5 years old while she was doing research in the forbidden forest. An acromentula, descending from Aragog, bit her. She went to St-Mangoste for treatment but it was already too late. She died before help arrived. Hagrid cried because he adored Ronan's mother. He is deaf and mute and is followed by a worker. In 2017, Ronan receives a letter from Hogwarts school. Laura recognized the letter since her son and daughter both received it when they were 11 years old. At first, she didn't want Ronan to go to Hogwarts given his condition. But she accepted when she saw that her father was a potions teacher at this school and she knew him quite well. She continued to help the young boy who came to see her using a portkey. Gradually, Laura fell in love with the potion teacher. Ronan has mediocre results except in potions where he is the best. He often arrives late to class with his clothes sloppy. In the 4th year, he became an apprentice to one of England's potion masters.
