Leland Hudson Evans (born on November 15, 1980) was a pure-blood wizard descended from the British diaspora in Zimbabwe. He is the first child of Lester and Agnes Evans and the older brother of Abby Evans. He is of British, Irish, Italian, Swedish, Russian (because his fourth great-grandmother fled anti-semitism in Russia), French, Spanish, and Portuguese descent on his paternal side but German, Greek, Swedish, English, Irish, Belarusian, Lithuanian, Polish, Russian (Leland was also descended from Udmurt captives, English immigrants to Russia, Irish immigrants to Russia, and Swedish Prisoners of War), and Ukrainian (Leland was also descended from Swedish prisoners of War, an abducted Crimean Tatar child, and Black Sea Germans in Kherson) descent on his maternal side.
Early Life[]
Leland was born in London to Lester and Agnes Evans, both pure-blood parents from Zimbabwe. At age two, he had a younger sister named Abby. The parents never properly raised their children and unleashed their aggression against their children whenever they broke a rule. When Leland was four, his parents got into a confrontation with a muggle after they knocked his suitcase out at the metro. Then, they used magic against the muggle and then they were sent to Azkaban, had there wands snapped, lost custody of their children, were banned from seeing their children again, and were deported to Zimbabwe with a lifetime ban from ever coming back to the UK. Leland and Abby had to live with family friends: Milan Nikolic and Freja Lindstrom at 32 Verulam Road in Hertfordshire. Leland then sought solace in practicing magic.
Animagus Transformation[]
At the age of seven, Leland discovered his innate ability to transform into a three-headed dog from the results from an examination, which he used as an escape from troubled reality. He would often go to an isolated area where people rarely visited and transformed into his dog form. The practice allowed him to hone his magical skills.
Greek Encounter[]
When Leland was ten years old, he traveled to Greece, where a wizard caught him eating food from a dumpster. The Greek wizard punished Leland by enchanting him to remain an animagus for an entire year. After Leland turned into the three-headed dog, the wizard took him to the Leaky Cauldron where Hagrid, the gamekeeper at Hogwarts, came into possession of him. Hagrid affectionately nicknamed him "Fluffy."
Guarding the Philosopher's Stone[]
Hagrid loaned Fluffy to Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts, to aid in guarding the Philosopher's Stone during the 1991-1992 school year. Fluffy's role was to protect the trapdoor leading to the stone, and the door was magically locked for additional security.
Encounter with Harry Potter and anyone associated with Harry[]
Leland's true identity as Fluffy was discovered by Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville during their first year at Hogwarts but they did not know Leland’s real name at the time. They encountered Fluffy while exploring the forbidden area on the third floor, where the Philosopher's Stone was hidden. Fluffy's presence, combined with hints dropped by Hagrid about Nicolas Flamel, led the group to deduce the stone's location. Fluffy but Snape when he though Quirrell snuck behind him.
Post-Philosopher's Stone Events[]
After his duties of guarding the Philosopher's Stone were complete, Hagrid set Fluffy free in the Forbidden Forest. However, Dumbledore later arranged for Fluffy to be sent back to Greece, as he wanted to keep Hagrid's risky acquisitions away from the school. After Leland was back to being human, he was allowed to return home to England.
Hogwarts Years[]
Leland started attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 1992-1993 school year, where he was sorted into Slytherin House. In his second year, he made friends with his distant cousin Draco Malfoy and Malfoy’s friends Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle and was recruited into their gang. It was known that Leland, accompanied by Basil Reid, Flora Carrow, and Hestia Carrow, took one of his nine spiders Arachne and put her on Ron’s head. Ron freaked out and Leland, Flora Carrow, Basil Reid, and Hestia Carrow laughed. His distant cousin Professor Minerva McGonagall made Leland lift the spider off of Ron’s head, took 7 points off from Slytherin each, and gave all four of them detention. The time Harry convinced McGonagall to sign the Hogsmeade form was when Leland did his detention with Remus Lupin. The people who were in there for detention at the same time were Leland’s cousin Julia Evans, Demarcus Bradley, Sourav Kartnik, Nerys Orpington, and Sylvia Melville.

During the winter break of the 1994-1995 School Year, the worst part was watching Colin Creevey chase Leland for stealing his camera.
Relevation, Duel, Howler, and his duties as a Death Eater[]
Bellatrix Lestrange: “Who is this individual?”
Lord Voldemort: ”And this is Leland Evans, the son I always wanted.”
Leland Evans: “I met Wormtail in Albania and I recognized him as the one who met me when I was born.”
Peter Pettigrew: “I met Leland on November 15, 1980 at St Mungo’s before I even sent you to kill Harry Potter.”
Lord Voldemort: “Leland, you are underage and I am sorry to hear about that howler from Blood traitors chasing you to this place. But, this will be your first time fighting in a battle with us.”
Leland Evans: “I chased a Blood Traitor with this knife 2 nights ago that I bought in Ukraine last year. And Bellatrix, I am handing this to you for the next use of any Order member disapparates.”
Bellatrix Lestrange: “Thank you, Leland. I am putting the new dark mark on since you will be seventeen after the first meeting with the Dark Lord. For the meeting here, your seat will be next to your uncle.”
(Bellatrix puts the Dark Mark on Leland’s left wrist)
Leland Evans: “Okay. This is Basil Reid, Demarcus Bradley, and Ethan Chukwunyere. Just so you know, when I was a massive three headed dog, some half-breed friend of Potter took me from a Greek chap and loaned me to a blood traitor and they controlled me to guard the stone and my bites were meant for Potter. Anyway, for the next task for killing Harry Potter, I will be killing or putting that giant half-breed in danger since in revenge for making me protect the stone, even if he has stinking Potter in his bike.”
Bellatrix Lestrange: “Yaxley, can you come up?”
Corban Yaxley: “Okay. Leland, we have a promise to make.”
Bellatrix Lestrange: “Leland, you will know about anyone or their relatives betraying us. Promise?”
Leland Evans: “I promise.”

- Voldemort and other Death Eaters speaking to Leland during his first time at Malfoy Manor before the next meeting, after Molly Weasley’s howler chased Leland to Malfoy Manor and Leland making empty threats to Hagrid.
In his third year, he went to Albania and met Peter Pettigrew and then Pettigrew introduced him to Lord Voldemort and then Leland told him about a Regeneration Potion and told Voldemort to easily keep a look out to any person who was with Harry and then went back which resulted in Pettigrew killing Cedric and making the Regeneration Potion and then he went to Kharkiv and then he met Yusif Jafarov and bought a dagger from him after they became friends and Yusif said that he would join the Death Eaters. On December 26 1995, Leland looked through his telescope in his bedroom to spy on strangers walking by, then he saw Ron Weasley pick up a wand though he was actually stretching, and then Leland put on his death eater costume and chased Ron Weasley across St Albans and slipped at a park. On December 27 1995, Leland bullied Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny outside of Hogwarts Grounds, revealing his true identity as the three-headed dog that guarded the Philosopher's Stone. He expressed his intention to harm them, starting with Harry after discovering information about Peter Pettigrew and Lord Voldemort during the trip to Albania, then Hermione just because of her Blood status, then Ron because not only does Leland say Ron wears his shirt untucked but also associates with Harry and Hermione, and Ginny last, he decided to have her last because not only did she associate with the trio, he also discovered information about her confiding into Voldemort during Leland's first year. The relevation led to a duel between Leland and the trio, joined by Ginny. However, they managed to disarm Leland and Hermione casted the Jelly Legs curse at him, which led to Leland walking home with Jelly Legs. When Leland got home, while his paternal grandparents were visiting, his grandparents and the residents were shocked, then his grandmother cast a spell to fix Leland’s legs. While at home the next day, Leland received a Howler from his distant cousin Molly Weasley. The Howler was a magical message in the form of a loud and angry voice, in which Molly Weasley expressed her frustration and anger towards Leland for bullying her two youngest children. In the Howler, she yelled at Leland to leave her kids alone, emphasizing her concern and protective nature as a mother, which led to tension and animosity between Leland and his distant relatives, the Weasley Family. The howler chased Leland to Malfoy Manor while he was using his broomstick. There, he was officially part of the ranks of the Death Eaters and both Fenrir Greyback and Bellatrix Lestrange recommended Leland join the Snatchers too. He was involved in the following: The death of Hedwig because Leland along with Yusif, Stanley Shunpike under the Imperius Curse, and Selwyn were in pursuit of Harry and Hagrid but then Leland continued and was about to shoot a Killing Curse at Hagrid in revenge for putting him under control to guard the stone and in order for Harry to fall off the bike but the spell missed him and hit Hedwig; Skirmish at Malfoy Manor because he was among the snatchers that captured the Trio; an accomplice in the death of Broderick Bode because he was the one that bought the Devil’s Snare in Russia and then gave it to Walden Macnair; the death of Igor Karkaroff because he and Yusif tracked him down to a shack in the north and killed him; the death of Florean Fortescue because he and Yusif were the ones that forcibly dragged him away from the Ice Cream parlor and left it in a mess and then loaned him to Voldemort to torture and kill him; and the death of Mrs. Abbott because he broke into her home and shot a Killing Curse at her and left a death threat and coercive note to Mrs. Abbott’s husband. Then, Leland sent the same type of note to Mr. Midgen.
After he hit Camelia with the Killing Curse, Leland went up to the Gates of the Owlery and saw Colin Creevey, Jimmy Peakes, and Mylor Sylvanus. He called Colin Creevey a “Mudblood” when asking him what he is doing here. Colin, got angry and attempted to reach Leland’s pocket, but Leland wrestled him down and then Jimmy and Mylor jumped in. Leland’s uncle Corban Yaxley heard the noise of the call to the Aurors and the fight and went up there. He then saw his nephew Leland in a fight with Colin, Jimmy, and Mylor. He then cast a breakup jinx on the three that were attacking Leland and angrily told Colin, Jimmy, and Mylor not to touch Leland and warned them that Leland will not be touched by “Mudbloods like Colin”. Colin had proved loyal to Harry Potter, which further angered Yaxley, and, after Yaxley was swearing at Colin and Colin casted Everte Statum at Leland in retaliation for calling him a “Mudblood”, Yaxley hit Colin with a Killing Curse also to spare Leland for his assault on Colin.
During the Battle of Hogwarts, he intervened in the duel between Hestia Carrow and Flora Carrow and then murdered Flora Carrow. Then, Leland dueled with his distant cousin Mary Jones and then injured her arm by spell and then her twin sister Megan Jones intervened and dueled, which resulted in Leland hitting Megan with the Killing Curse.
Later Life[]
After completing his final year at Hogwarts, Leland was imprisoned for life in Azkaban but was released in August 2000 for good behavior after reporting to the guards about the poison in an inmate’s drink which resulted in a prison guard being fired and then Leland moved to Ireland. His family denounced his actions. In the middle of the night, Marley Chang and Oral Patel were shocked to discover Leland in his animagus form. In 2019, it was known that he transformed into his animagus form again and got involved in an incident with a taco truck. After that incident, Leland left and returned to human form and went back to his home in Ireland.
