Nagini
Nagini is a female Maledictus formerly cursed to transform into a snake. Originating possibly in Indonesia, by 1927 she was a performer at the Circus Arcanus where she met Credence Barebone and had the ability then to transform at will. By 1994, Nagini was seemingly trapped in snake form and belonged to Lord Voldemort, with whom she had a special bond largely due to becoming a Horcrux, after her master had killed Bertha Jorkins in 1994.
After Voldemort's initial downfall, he used Nagini's venom as one of the ingredients for a Potion to regain strength, which eventually led to his rebirth in 1995. Later in the same year, she attacked Arthur Weasley but he managed to survive.
During the Second Wizarding War, she apparently had to be destroyed for Voldemort to finally be defeated. Nagini was seemingly killed by Neville Longbottom with Godric Gryffindor's Sword in 1998 and appeared to be last Horcrux to be destroyed after Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem. In reality, however, Nagini survived and the power of the Sword not only destroyed the fragment of Voldemort's soul but also the curse forcing Nagini into the form of a serpent, subsequently returning to her previous age as a young woman, although she retained her shapeshifting at will ability.
Nagini subsequently fled and eventually made her way back to Paris, where she met and befriended four fellow young spellcasters: Luz Noceda, Amity Blight, Gus Porter and Willow Park and Luz's Titan companion, King, and became one of the small group. She joined a magical circus with them, seeking a place to belong, but eventually fled it with the other four. Later on, she and the rest of Luz's band were lured into the Dragon Lord's Paris Rally, where she watched in devastation as Luz and King joined the Dragon Lord and the Death Eaters (Luz having joined out of a desire to discover her identity and find a way to return to her beloved mother, King having joined out of loyalty to Luz). Having survived the rally, Nagini, with Amity, Willow and Gus, officially joined forces with Iiron Scamander and travelling to Hogwarts with the other rally survivors. She subsequently joined Iiron's Group, a band dedicated to bring down the Dragon Lord, and eventually reunited with Luz alongside Amity, Gus and Willow after the human-witch defected from the Dragon Lord's camp
Physical Appearance[]
As a human, she was a beautiful and desirable woman of East Asian descent, with long black hair. Even after her years as a snake, Nagini, when she was freed, was reverted to her original age and form. In her animal form, Nagini was a large, green snake, roughly twelve feet long and as thick as a man's thigh.
