Niculaie Pavel is a Syldavian pure-blood witch and former cadet of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät. Niculaie was the daughter of two supporters of the Dragon Lord who had thus came to collaborate with the Death Eaters that, under the leadership of Igor Müsstler, had aimed to take over the Kingdom of Syldavia. Because of this affiliation, Pavel was volunteered by her parents to train as an operative of the Z.Z.R.K. and her piloting abilities caused her to become a protégé of Colonel Laurin Bussler, who came to speak highly of her until her capture during the destruction of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät, who Niculaie and her family escaped, ultimately joining Roberto Raclaw's Z.Z.R.K. remnant.

As part of the large remnant, Niculaie was made the pilot of a TIE/In sky superiority skyfighter that she piloted as part of Raclaw's aerial forces and among her activities in the remnant, Pavel participated in an attack on Fader Magicar, who Roberto Raclaw wished to assassinate before she could prove a threat to his plans. As a result, Raclaw dispatched Niculaie and a large squadron of TIEs to destroy Kaleva Castle and ambush Fader, who escaped thanks to the aid she received from Yellow, Fireworm, John Windborn and Everose, killing several members of the Z.Z.R.K. remnant, though Pavel survived the encounter.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Training to be a Northern Empire Imperial[]

Having been enrolled by her parents as a soldier to the Dragon Lord's forces, Niculaie Pavel was mentored personally by Laurin Bussler, who she idolized

Niculaie was born in Syldavia to a pure-blood Syldavian wizarding family that came to bore close ties with the Death Eaters of Syldavia, who were known among themselves and their followers also as the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät, out of support for the Dragon Lord, who Pavel's parents were supporters of during the Global Wizarding War and remained loyal to him after his defeat. Though neither of her parents joined the forces appointed under the command of Igor Müsstler themselves, their attitude of wizarding supremacy led them to support of the Z.Z.R.K.'s plan to remove the non-magical king of Syldavia, King Muskar XIII and send their only daughter, Niculaie, to become a member of the organization as a prospective cadet to the Imperial colonel Laurin Bussler, a prominent commander in the military efforts of the Z.Z.R.K. being made to quell enemy elements to the Dragon Lord in Syldavia. Though her family name had no influence in her chances to study under the indomitable and hardened tutorship of a woman like Bussler, Niculaie was found to have prospect and as a result, Laurin came to select her among a small group of recruits she had chosen to take as protégés and Niculaie came to strongly hero worship her mentor, who she saw in almost a maternal light. Though Niculaie had no real opinion on what army division she wanted to serve in, she ultimately found herself in training to become a trainee pilot for the air TIE fighter forces of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät, who she trained in among various others, including several veterans of the first half of the Third Global Wizarding War that had fought for the Empire of Night, but fled to Syldavia after imperial influence in the Empire's outer territories crumpled following the disappearance of High Lieutenant Darkness Magicar, the Dragon Lord's stand-in regent.

Niculaie was seen as a young woman who had the potential for good placement in not only the Z.Z.R.K., but also in the Imperial Military of the Northern Empire when it rose again, but before she could be put into the field, Igor Müsstler's plans to take over Syldavia by discrediting the royal image of King Muskar and instigating an uprising to annex the Kingdom with the lands of Borduria, where Death Eaters had already seized power, were thwarted and exposed at their final stage and in the aftermath, letters incriminating the Z.Z.R.K.'s public image, the Iron Guard, as insurgents and Death Eaters were shown to Muskar, resulting in the governments initiating an investigation that shattered the central leadership of the Death Eaters in Syldavia that included the arrests of many of it's leader figures, including Laurin Bussler. Niculaie Pavel, however, survived and when her parents, guided by their loyalty to the Dragon Lord, chose to join a militant remnant of the Z.Z.R.K. headed in secrecy by Robeto Raclaw, Niculaie also joined the splinter group, which had the resources and manpower to manage a large motley squadron of Imperial skyfighter airships, which Niculaie joined, her training and the respect Roberto Raclaw had for Pavel's mentor, Colonel Bussler allowing her to join the squadron despite her incomplete training as pilot to a TIE/In sky superiority skyfighter.

Service to Roberto Raclaw's Remnant[]

Ambush at Kaleva Castle[]

"That's a lot of ships for an Imperial warlord."
—Princess Fader on the numbers of Pavel's squadron

When the Mission to the Living Waters of the ancient Magican Isles brought the attention of Raclaw to the neighboring presence of Princess Fader, he feared her location would perhaps alert the former leader of S.H.I.E.L.D. to his local efforts made in the name of regrowing the Empire of Night and take up arms again it and therefore planned to ambush and kill her before she could contact her team, who had been crucial in the original defeat of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät that had driven him, the Pavels and so many others into hiding. He therefore assembled a squadron of TIE/IN Interceptors and TIE/LN skyfighters, including the fighter that Niculaie Pavel piloted, that he ordered to station themselves in the bordering airspace of Kaleva Castle, which Fader had been residing in but left to help John Windborn in his Quest to the Living Waters, while six other fighters diverted the attention of Fader and her allies Yellow Amarillo del Bosque Verde, Windborn, Fireworm and Everose and three TIE/sa Bombers demolished the Castle just as Fader returned, provoking the princess to pursue the bombers to where Pavel and the others were hiding in wait.

Battle over Kavirian Mountains

As part of a squadron assembled by Roberto Raclaw to attack Princess Fader in the Kavirian Mountains, Niculaie participated in the dogfight among the peaks.

All initially went according to plan, despite the losses of all the interceptors sent to distract their enemies and one of the Bombers, which Niculaie watched be destroyed from where she hid in the storm cloud, the remnant TIE pilots, including Pavel, then piloted their aircrafts from the cloud cover in a swarm, intending to cut Fader's jetfighter to pieces in a matter of seconds with their combined firepower. They had not counted, however, on the presence of two Dragon Riders whose warnings had enabled Fader to redirect her ship just in time to flee, Niculaie and the rest of the squadron roaring after her in a disorganized pack, exchanging fire with Fireworm and Everose as the two dragons and their riders defended Fader's back. As she swooped over the countryside, Niculaie only just averted the left-wing panel of her TIE being consumed by a ball of fire from Fireworm, which Niculaie exclaiming in horror, earning admonishment from one of her commanding officers, which was cut off when the woman's craft was suddenly hit by another of Fireworm's blasts, further terrifying Pavel. Nevertheless, she remained loyal to her mission of assassinating Fader before she could escape to prove a threat and drove her aircraft upwards with the rest of Roberto Raclaw's squad, who Pavel pursued into the cloud coverage, only to suddenly pull back as the cloud before her was lit with explosions sparked by the dragons fires, which gave her foes the time to board Fader's plane so that Fader could jet away, leaving the Z.Z.R.K. group behind them.
