Restaldi Dogrem was a Syldavian pure-blood dark witch, a Death Eater and military officer in the forces of an Imperial remnant assembled under the leadership of Grand General Esteban Flores. Born to the Night Eternal and raised inside the ideology of fervent religious worship that the cult harboured for the Dragon Lord, its master and deified leader, Restaldi belonged to a generation of young witches and wizards that were trained by her cultist forebearers in service to the dark lord that they serve and were intended to become the embodiment of the Death Eaters' spiritual branch when it combined with sheer military firepower, which, in Dogrem's case, was to be put in service to the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät. Although Restaldi was too young to have fought when the Z.Z.R.K. was at the pinnacle of its power, she served the organization's memory as a participant of the first large-scale offensive that remnant factions of its power made against the Syldavian government under the command of Esteban Flores, who her chapter of the Night Eternal was convinced to aid under the assurances that, as the protege of High Lieutenant Darkness Magicar, Flores also served at the will of the Dragon Lord.

Helming the Deragoth-class Seawrecker Fade as her commanding officer in the occupation of Dbrnouk, Captain Dogrem commanded a crew of personnel that were of an upbringing similar to her own in the battle that later ensued for control of the port city, which a joint invasion force launched with the intent of liberating Dbrnouk from the Death Eaters' grip. During the late siege, Restaldi Dogrem and Fade were pitted against the creative talents of Corona Squadron and a boarding party, who were able to cause critical damage to Dogrem's warship late into the final battle, forcing Restaldi to order the evacuation of all surviving personnel, including herself, from Fade, the captain and her subordinates fleeing aboard escape subs, from which they were captured and escorted, bound and disarmed, to prison ships that proceeded to take the surviving forces of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät to the Abyss for incarceration.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Throneshinesdims

Restaldi Dogrem was brought up in the Dinaric Alps by followers of the Night Eternal, who would train her to serve not only their spiritual beliefs, but also their military agendas.

Born on 2 April 2009, Restaldi Dogrem was raised since her delivery by members of the Night Eternal cult, the entirety of her first twenty-one years being spend below ground within the vast network of tunnels that honeycombed the Dinaric Alps, where cultists of the Night Eternal resided, tirelessly building its military assets for the glory of their deified master, the Dragon Lord, who the sect worshipped as but one chapter of a far larger religious organization. Training her entire life in preparation for the time when she would be deployed from the caverns of her birth and join the ranks of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät, which her society serve as a secret spiritual wing to, though Dogrem, as part of a generation of young witches and wizards that the Death Eaters reared to fulfil their 'divine goals' and staff the vast armed force that they and their followers were constructing inside the depths of the mountain chain, received military instruction patterned after that of the Northern Empire, the Imperial template that her training was patterned after was altered and warped in certain ways by the religious doctrine of the Night Eternal, which raised her to follow its beliefs and instilled within Restaldi a reverence for the power of the Dark Arts that she developed from infancy. Like of the children of the cult, Restaldi Dogrem was taught to believe the raw truth of existence, which stipulated that might made right when in eternal service to the Dragon Lord, who she was raised to worship and believe that, as his disciples, the Death Eaters were entitled to rule supreme over the world, it being theirs by cosmic right. Though many younger generations of those that were raised in the Dragon Lord's fold reflected this ideology, Restaldi and her peers embodied the belief that it was their destiny to rule deepest, taking the notion to heart.

Through the teachings of the Night Eternal, Restaldi Dogrem developed the cold personality of an ambitious and unscrupulous woman that, within her work-oriented mindset, sought to claw her way through the ranks, which she was confident she could achieve, believing that she could define herself from amongst the thousands of captains that the cult had also trained to helm the hundreds of Deragoth-class Seawrecker warships the worshippers inside Dinaric Alps had built and assembled through the aid of its conglomerate contacts inside various shipbuilding and weapons manufacturing firms throughout the Balkan Peninsula, which the cult continued to build their military forces with assistance from their allies inside the Kingdom of Syldavia, even after the fragmentation of their political face and military spine, the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät having collapsed into factionalism after the failure of its coup against the crown, which was made before Dogrem could join the Z.Z.R.K. ranks. Though some placed the blame for this disastrous outcome at the feet of Igor Müsstler, Restaldi herself privately admired the broken organization's former leader, remembering his actions with appreciation for the allegiance to their master and initiative he had demonstrated when he had attempted to claim the Syldavian realm for the Death Eaters in an attempt to invigorate the dark armies to activity once again since the beginning of their empire's cold war with the United Alliance of Magical Races. Despite her ruthless nature, however, Dogrem would develop genuine feelings of amiable friendship with another young wizard that the eternal night cultists raised, Maeroli Lotavin, who Restaldi would go on to serve with onboard the Deragoth-class Seawrecker Fade and considered the only other that she could truly trust. She eventually was made captain of Fade, while Lotavin became one of the lieutenants that served beneath her. Among the rest of her crew, Restaldi succeeded in establishing dominance, it being composed of fleet technicians, officers and crews harvested from her generation and countless others stolen from their homes as infants by the Death Eaters. Eventually, the Night Eternal's chapter inside Syldavia was contacted by Grand General Esteban Flores — the personal protege of High Lieutenant Darkness Magicar, who was right-hand woman and wife of the Dragon Lord — in his efforts to reassemble the disconnected Imperial forces of the Empire of Night into a singular fighting force. Notwithstanding the difference in opinions between militants and the cultists who had raised Restaldi Dogrem, the Night Eternal was mollified by the assurance that, since he was the apprentice of Darkness, Esteban was commanded by the Dragon Lord as an extension of the dark wizard's will.
