Therese Winther is a Syldavian Muggle woman and the chief laundress to Igor Müsstler at the ambassador's manorhouse, who's staff she served among as one of the few members not to bare wizarding abilities. Therefore, though not a witch herself, she was well aware of the treasonous plans her employer led as the leader to the Death Eaters of the Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät and an unofficial member of the organization, thus at the very least indirectly serving the Dragon Lord.
Biography[]
Employment[]
Though not born of magical abilities herself, Therese Winther was a native of the land of Syldavia, a country that's general isolation from the larger areas of the world had led to the greater awareness of magic to its non-magical population, thus making the sight of wizards and the performance of magic far more commonplace than it would been in the communities of Australia, Great Britain and America, who enforced strict restrictions on their wizarding population. When she reached the age of adulthood, Winther's natural authority and skill at leadership caught to eye of the royal ambassador Igor Müsstler whilst visiting her town and offered her a rare opportunity to be a member of his staff.
One of the few non-magical domestic workers employed in the manor house of the royal ambassador to the Kingdom of the Black Pelican, Therese's ambition earned her the respect of her employer and as a result, Igor Müsstler elevated her eventually to a position in the leaders of the mansion staff. She was made the chief laundress of the mansion and eventually, Winther's loyalty to Müsstler came to outweigh her allegiance to the royal family and King Muskar XIII and therefor, she remained loyal to him even upon discovering he was a servant of the infamous dark wizard, the Dragon Lord, and the leader of a revolutionary organization that aimed to depose Muskar and orchestrate the annexation of Syldavia with Borduria in a wizarding coup d'état. She also came to be aware of the affiliation the Z.Z.R.K. had to the Death Eaters and the Dragon Lord, as well as knew the general appearances of some of the circle of leadership that headed the organization with Müsstler, although any knowledge she had in regard to the genuine identities of these leaders is unknown
Several weeks before their seizure of power was dated to take place, Therese and her staff were assigned to setting one of the secret chambers below the manor house for a lavish dinner that she set her underlings to preparing, her keen eye for detail permitting her to follow the orders given to the letter. Leaving the chamber as the final preparations were being completed, Therese, dressed in flowing ivory robes and with the typical golden face décor and eyeliner Müsstler had his chief servants done whilst he was visited by others of his organization, found her employer staring down at the driveway, awaiting the arrival. Bowing before the Death Eaters, Therese shortly informed Müsstler that she and her staff were ensuring his gathering chamber was perfect with all the speed they could manage. Standing to attention as Igor turned to her, Therese was reminded of the perfection Müsstler demanded that night, sucking in a breath when informed of the upcoming arrivals of the leaders of the Z.Z.R.K. — its high council — then bowing again in acquiescence and returning to conclude her duties before the Death Eaters arrived to discuss their plans with Müsstler.
